Q. What is the Hall Tree and bench made of?

A. The Benches and hall tree attachments are made of 100% solid wood.

Q. Can the hall tree attachment be removed from the bench?
A. Yes. At anytime you can remove or attach the hall tree back to meet your current decor or storage needs.

Q. Is the storage cubby top removable?
A. Yes. The storage cubby top can be used to provide additional storage space or removed to create a flat top for a more decorative option.

Q. Can the back panels be changed?
A. The back panels have a smooth or fluted side so you can match to your decor style. They can be reversed at anytime.

Q. Do I need to use the existing hooks?
A. We provide coat and hat hooks but you may change them out to use any style you like.

Q. Does the hall tree need to be secured to a wall?
A. No. However, we do recommend that the hall tree is placed against a wall but not necessary.

Q. Does the hall tree bench attachment work on every bench?
A. No. The hall tree bench attachment only works on John Louis Home benches. We do not recommend using it on an open top storage bench as the top would not be able to open.

Q. What are the dimensions of the Hall Trees?
A. The assembled dimensions of the are 48in.(W) x 7in.(L) x 60in.(H) or 52in.(H) with storage top removed. The removable storage top is 14in.(W) x 6.5in.(L) x 7.25in.(H).

Q. What is the weight capacity of the Benches?
A. The Benches are suitable for up to 2 adults and a maximum weight capacity of 300lbs.

Q. Is the Bench Cushion machine washable?
A. Yes, the Bench Cushion has a machine washable tweed print cover that uses a zipper for easy removal.

Q. Can the shoe inserts be removed?
A. Yes, the shoe inserts can be removed or placed in a different opening.

Q. Are bins included?
A. The hall tree attachment includes 3 rectangle storage bins. Depending on the type of bench, 1 or 2 cube storage bins may be included.
